Flash is a brand name given to a technology which provides enhanced graphical functionality to a web site or multimedia CD.
 
Flash web sites are viewable with a free plugin to a web browser. Using Flash we can develop more visually interactive and animated graphics for web sites. Complete sites can be developed using Flash or small features can be embedded into web pages.
 
We can also develop enhanced interfaces for displaying dynamic content (e.g. information drawn from a database).
