Changing Your Password
Before you change your password in Thunderbird, you will first need to change it directly on the server. This makes sure you will be able to access your mail once the changes have been made.
If you have not already done this please see notes 'Changing email password (cPanel).
How to change your password in Thunderbird:
1. Go to the Thunderbird Menu and select ‘Preferences’
2. Select the ‘Passwords’ tab
3. Click ‘Saved Passwords’
4. Click ‘Show Passwords’
5. Select and change the password
6. Once changed close the window and your password will be saved.
