Mac mail is a great email application that you can send and receive emails on. The application is designed with an apple operating system.
1. Open your mac mail on your apple mac computer and select other mail account and press continue
2. Add in the name of your account, your email address and password then press sign in.
3. Now enter in your server details for the incoming and outgoing mail server and press sign in.
4. Press done, now your email account is set up.
5. If you have any issues receiving and sending emails, you need to check that your email settings are correct. You can do this by selecting preferences on the top menu.
6. Here you can check the mail settings are correct, if you untick automatically manage connection settings, here you can add the port numbers 993 for IMap and 465 for the outgoing port and tick use TLS/SSL.
7. To create a local folder, under the mailbox menu go to new mailbox
8. Select the location and create a name for the folder and press ok.
