Login to https:/cp.gohost.it with reseller details
SETUP EXCHANGE MAILBOXES
ADD USER or USE EXISTING USER
1) Billing CP / Operations Director / Account Manager / Customers
2) Click Add New Customer.
CREATE EXCHANGE ORDER
1) Billing CP / Operations Director / Sales Manager / Customer Orders
2) Click Add New Order
3)
a) Assign Account.
b) Assign Service Plan (2GB is Exchange Executive, 1GB is Exchange Premium)
c) Assign Period (1 month or 12 month)
Click Next
4) This sets up one mailbox if you require more click Order Additional Resources
a) Choose Exchange Options Category
b) Select Extra Mailbox
c) Click Modify Resource Amount
d) Enter how many additional mailboxes click Next
e) Review Order and click Place Order.
f) Order should now appear in Customer Orders.
g) Check order status if NEW click link and click OPEN button.
CREATE MAILBOX
1) Login to Customers CP
2) Select Domain Overview / Domain Administrator
3) Click Add Existing Domain Registered Elsewhere
4) Enter domain and select Microsoft Exchange click next
5) Open domain link and change DNS to external
6) Select Exchange Link in menu
7) Click Mailboxes
8) Click Add Mailbox
9) Select New Service User
10) Enter Details
11) Select Required access options needed Click Finish
CHANGE OUTGOING EMAIL ADDRESS
1) Open mailbox link
2) Select Email addresses
3) Click Change button on primary email
4) Select custom email click next
5) Enter New Email address
6) Click Finish
If also using email accounts on our server:
1. Once you have setup exchange you can redirect emails as you have said.
2. To setup exchange and to hide redirects see attached pdf.
3. Yes setup mx for exchange.fikm.com and mail.exchange.fikm.com to point at exsmtp01.gohost.it.
4. Set fikm.com to go to mxfilter.points2.com or mxcluster.points2.com (mxfilter does spf checking before getting to filter server which reduces spam going into spam reports.)
5. As you want to filter fikm.com before going to your server to redirect the mail, it isn't covered by the exchange, you will need to purchase for all mailboxes but as there is a minimum of 10 it will be the same amount.
